What will happen when I visit your animal?
At the first visit I will take a comprehensive history about your animal’s lifestyle and occupation and discuss your concerns about his health. I will explain to you the purpose of chiropractic care and answer any questions you may have about the treatment.
If you are happy to proceed I will examine your animal using my hands and observe his movement in both straight lines and turns.
I will then examine the animal more thoroughly focussing on the entire spine, limbs, skull and jaw to identify areas of pain or discomfort and restricted movements in individual joints of the body.
I work systematically through the whole body and when a restricted joint is detected this will be treated with a chiropractic adjustment. This adjustment is a specific, high speed, low force thrust within the normal physiological range of movement of the joint to correct the misalignment of the spine and restore mobility to the facet joints.
